I get webpage error, do you want to debug?

September 13, 2011 at 10:56:28
Specs: Windows XP
I keep getting this message and sometimes I say yes but another window pops up with a bunch of technical data and I try to close it and it says do you want to stop debugging. The problem is with magic jack and they told me to get rid of of anti-virus which comes free with my internet thru cable. I can recieve calls but not make them. I got rid of it and now I can make calls. I am downloading microsoft security essentials and I hope the problem is solved. Does anyone know why this was happening for the past couple of days? I had no problems before.

I have windows xp and browser thru firefox

Might switch to a different security suite. At least use microsoft's security essentials or better.

Hard to say what magic jack is doing or what ads they have. I'd get ooma instead.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

What is ooma? I did get microsoft security essentials You didn't say anything about the error message. It isn't magic jack that sent the message, it was my computer and microsoft s.e. scanned and found 2 viruses when CA. Security said my computer was clean so I am concluding that the virus was within the anti-virus because now I can use mj and computer is running faster. I just wondered what causes a webpage error.

I switched to microsoft security and I no longer have any problems so I had a virus in an anti-virus program! Computer runs much faster too!
