I bought a motorola sbg941 wireless surfboard modem, it never came with an installation cd.
I was wondering is there anyway to burn a disk from a download or a file. Please let me know, thank you very much.
The Motorola link below states that modem comes with a CD. That said, it is plug and play. Are you connecting computers to the modem with patch cords or wirelessly?
Hi, the Motorola SBG941 modem I bought didn't come with a installation cd.
I was wondering if there is anybody out there that knows of a link or file that I could download and burn a cd from?
As OtheHill said, your modem "plug & play". No installation CD is needed. See the link in his response.
cr, What cable system are you using that modem on? The specs state the model is a docsis 2.0 model. Newer modems are docsis 3.0. If your provider is using docsis 3.0 I recommend you exchange it. If you purchased the modem as new, I suggest you return it anyway and get one that is complete. The lack of the CD may indicate the unit is used and returned. If that is the case it may be defective.
One last point, did you check with your cable provider to verify that model is compatible with their system?
