Are you trying to copy from the CD?
Commercial or private CD?
To where?
What size files?
What file format is on the drive you are copying to?

CRC errors are associated with corrupt files.

You didn't answer all the questions. What file system if in use on the hard drive?

FAT32 can only work with files under 4GB in size. Larger than that will generate CRC errors.

Look in Windows Disk Management. The information for all your drives will be listed there?

What kind of files are you trying to copy from the CD? If it really is a CD then the most data can be on there is less than 700MB. That is less than the 4GB. If the disk is a DVD then the FAT32 might be an issue.

Were you trying to drag and drop or copy and paste?
