built a computer and am stuck... i have everything assembled and it powers up but no monitor or any port access from the back. It says I need to install chipset drivers but I don't have a screen to do so. This is new out of the box mb. I'm clueless here...

what do you mean "it says" you need to install drivers? A Pit Bull is like a gun you can pet. And there is no safety on it.
Why do you think that N/A for specs is going to help us? Post all the hardware specs and then explain better exactly what you problem is. Sounds like you were able to install Windows but after rebooting you have no video. If that is the case then try booting into Windows Safe Mode by tapping F8 at start up. Then install ALL the drivers from the motherboard site or CD.
You should ALWAYS bench test your hardware 1st. Tear everything out of the case & start from scratch. Here's an explanation of what you should have done:
foxconn a88gmv motherboard anthlon x2 550 3.1 ghz
3 stick of dd3 ( 2 1g and 1 4g)
coolermaster 500 w psu
ide dvd drives
ata hard drive
I have it down to one stick of ram, the cpu/fan, and power to just those and I don't get any function out of the screen or usb slots to know if anything is working.
When the hard drive was attached it at least made noises.
The cpu and ram are transfers from a different computer I was building and everything was fine except that i pulled the vga cable out of the back of it while it was running and the whole thing shut down and would never start again. i bought the new motherboard and transferred the parts.... Is there a way for me to test if the cpu and ram still work? I feel like the motherboard is not the issue here...
