Specs: Windows 7
after that i keep on receivin BSOD or BLueSCREEn..... i have a 3gb RAM ...... then i tried ... to get 1 gb of ram.. and my pc running on 2gb ram ... then the BSOD or the BLUESCREEN stop appearing......

what should i do... i really want to add some ram.. :(

Your post is confusing. Did the problem occur after you installed the new graphics card? Maybe your computer can only use 2GB of RAM.

Hard to say one way or the other when you have not provided any specs or model numbers.

Does the new card require an auxiliary power connector? If so, have you connected it? If so, your power supply may not have enough amperage on the 12V rail. Most pre-configured computers have marginal power supplies.

After checking the power requirements the power supply may not be the issue. You may have disturbed something inside the case.

I hope you unplugged the computer BEFORE doing anything inside. Re-seat all cards, cables and RAM. If you jarred the heat sink you probably need to remove it, clean off the old thermal material and apply thermal paste according to the instructions for your processor.

the problem occurs after i installed my new graphic card .... i can only use 2gb of ram :( if i tried to add 1gb or 2gb i get a bluescreen or my pc hang or auto restart...

The link below is for your motherboard. If you read about RAM there BioStar recommends you use AMD verified RAM. See the tab there for for memory support.

Also, you may be installing RAM of different specs which can cause issues. At any rate the board is supposed to run up to 8GB of 1066 DDR2.

go to crucial.com dowmnload there pc scanner install it let it run and will tell you the kind of memory to install.this should tell you what you need inreguards to memory
