I am suddenly unable to upload files

Specs: Windows 7
Two days ago, my computer stopped allowing files to upload. I am unable to attach any kind of file to gmail, PDF's to an online company who make business cards or to Mediafire. I tried 3 other browsers and had the same issue. I use Windows 7 with Norton Antivirus and the machine has worked great for a year and half. I have not downloaded any programs or files all week that may have could have caused this issue. Every now and then, it will work and allow a file to attach and then it gives me an error or times out. I have tried two other machines on the same network and they work fine. I ran antivirus scans, malwarebytes, CC registry cleaner, did a DNF flush, defragmented, system restore, created a new user account, uninstalled and reinstalled Flash, Java and I even tried Shockwave. I am not sure what to do other than wipe the HD, which I really would like to avoid. Thanks for any suggestion.

Sorry, I also tried uploading the same files with Yahoo and the files still would not upload, so it's not a Gmail only problem.
