Solved I am considering upgrading my computer

Microsoft Windows 7 home premium

Specs: Windows 7 & XP, 4gb
I am looking to upgrade my computer with these items and would like to know, before I order, if these will work together:

Refurbished AMD FX-4130 Zambezi Quad-Core 3.8GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor FD4130FRW4MGU

ASRock 880GM-LE FX AM3+ AMD 880G + SB710 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard Memory

Or this MB: GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

CORSAIR Vengeance 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory Model CMZ4GX3M2A2000C10

I already have an AMD cooler/fan for my 3.00 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core

I know this is not the best of things but seems like it would satisfy me for now.

All are from NewEgg.

Both motherboards are based on outdated chipsets. If you want the most out of the FX CPU, get a board based on the AMD 900 series & make sure it has 4 memory slots for future RAM upgrades. Here's a decent board choice:

That board will require you to get a video card. I'm guessing you're not a gamer so how about this Radeon HD 5450 for $10 after rebate?

DDR3-2000 is unnecessary plus neither of the boards you selected officially support it (& neither does the CPU). Go with 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1866 & save yourself $20 (spend it on the video card). Either that or spend $18 more than you would have for the DDR3-2000 & get 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866.

And make sure you have a decent quality power supply with plenty of amps on the +12v rail. The CPU alone will require 10A.

EDIT: a few bucks more will get you a 95W 6-core FX-6300 with a heatsink/fan:

FX-4130 ($80) + ASRock 880G board ($50) + 4GB DDR3-2000 ($65) = $195

FX-6300 ($88) + Biostar 970 board ($60) + 4GB DDR3-1866 ($50) = $198
