HP wont boot up

Microsoft Windows vista home premium 64-...
December 3, 2009 at 09:35:10
Specs: Windows XP
The first and only thing that I see on the monitor screen after I turn on the power is the blue screen that has the HP logo in the center, the Intel Viiv logo to the right of this, 'v3.16' at the bottom right and '<Esc=Boot Menu> <F1=Start up> <F10=System Recovery>' along the bottom left. I can't get into the Setup/BIOS. Pressing Esc, F1 or F10 when the blue screen mentioned above is displayed doesn't do anything for me(nor do any other buttons that I have tried).... computer seems to be hung up at this point.

Hi there,

Try these things.

1) Remove the battery and Turn on the system using Power adapter.

2) Replace the hard drive if you can.

3) Try Different RAM.

I hope one of these sloutions will solve your problem

Best of luck
