I have HP3820 printer, which suddenly quit. PW & Resume lightes keep flashing no matter what. Pressing Resume simply yields a blank sheet. When PC sends print command, PW & Res still keep flashing. Hardware breakdown? Or any remedy?
Try to do the easier way..Uninstall the printer, restart your PC, and reinstall the printer..let the PC autodetects your printer and test your printer..Good luck!

Had a HP printer go the same way. One day the yellow light started blinking and would not stop. A lot of fiddling later I worked out it had a faulty sensor in the paperfeed. More expensive to repair than to buy a replacement printer. And how about the price of HP ink cartridges? Cost more to replace the ink than to buy a new printer.

Disconnect the printer from the eletrical socket for 30 seconds. Maybe buffer issue and it will reset? Otherwise the circuitry is hosed.
