hp printer wont print

Specs: Windows Vista
printer stopped printing- have vista with hp laserjet3015- set up to dot4 port(only way it WOULD print)- uninstalled/reinstalled- updated drivers. It has done this before with no provocation from me. Do not understand why it suddenly doesnt "hear" the pc- not printing from Word/Internet.

used Othehill's link http://ezinearticles.com/?Cant-Clea...
Click Start> Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > Print Spooler
right click on Print Spooler and select stop. Leave window open and turn off printer.
At the open Print Spooler window right click and select start.
Start menu > printers -find the printer having problems & double click on it. From that window menu select Printer, then Cancel All Documents. Keep cancelling until the window is clear. Then turn on your printer and try to print.
Worked for me and I had to select "Cancel All Documents" 3 times. GOOD LUCK

If you have ensured that you have the driver intact and it is updated, you might feel relieved. But, troubles associated with the printer, such as lack of ink in the cartridges, or some faults with the printing mechanism could also end up in the printer not printing. In order to fix the issue, you might service your printer regularly and maintain it properly. You could seek the help of a qualified technician, if you are unable to fix the issue.
