How do I remove the plastic hood and the trays from a H-P Deskjet 1000c printer?
Was replacing the cartridge and dumped some cookies down inside. It is rattling around, some stuck to ink spots and can't get it all out to make the paper slide through again.
If I can get the hoods off, I can vaccum the crumbs out.

Most HP printers have tabs. If you can't use a vacuum then may be some blasts of compressed air. Another reason why computers and food & drink don't mix.
