My computer - HP Pavilion xt928 does not boot up. It just shows the 'hp invent' blue screen for ever. I tried to access BIOS set up but does not go to that step at all. I tried changing the battery, memory, HDD cable - but no use. Please help me from blue screen! Thanks

What brought this on? Had you made some hardware change?

I connected a 4 way hub some weeks before and I have the feeling that it might have caused the problem. Yesterday, when the computer was displaying 'hp invent' screen, i removed the 4 way USB hub and it went to next stage with F1, F2 screens! Then I switched off the computer again and started. It was a bit slow but started. I updated Windows XP and started it again. Now it is working.

So, i think it is problem with USB hub - some way conflicting with other hardware resources.

Thanks.
