Comment: Does anyone know how to open the case of an HP Pavilion 7125? I have removed the only three visible screws in the back of it but it won't open. As usual, there is absolutely no relevent documentation on HP's web site and a Google search turned up empty. Thanks.

Reply: (edit)If you think your case is hard, try the 9600 series. There is HP documentation - no one can find it but it is there. http://h20015.www2.hp.com/en/documentIndex.jhtml?reg=&lc=en&cc=us&prodId=pv7125&cat=prodinfo&docparent=38201470&pagetype=38201469 This is for the HP 7000 series: http://h20015.www2.hp.com/en/document.jhtml?lc=en&docName=bph02309 This is also for the same series: http://h20015.www2.hp.com/en/document.jhtml?lc=en&docName=bph02306 Incidentally, did you know your model has no L2 cache?

Reply: (edit)Thanks Anonproxy, I was just hoping to get inside this beast and see what I needed to make it work. Luckily, I have the L2 cache from another box and I can also pump it up to a SCREAMING 32mb of RAM. HP ought to be ashamed of themselves....
