I'm having problems with an HP Pavilion 6700. When i go to power it on it doesn't even make it the BIOS splash screen before it automatically reboots. Then in continues to reboot over and over again until I manually power it down. When I hit f10 to open BIOS settings it stops rebooting its self, and remains powered on, but I get no picture on the screen. I don't have another laptop with a similar Mobo to part swap and rule out hardware components. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you CPU is over heating. Most computers have a built in safety which reboots the computer or shuts it off if the CPU over heats.

Double check the CPU intake. It may be clogged or the fan may be failing. Use canned air to blow it out.
