It looks like the 5219 UEF is a wireless keyboard and mouse. The driver downloads include support for both. As near as I can tell, the HP models that came with it only included XP drivers. Here's one:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...
There is a 'keyboard/mouse driver update' there but it doesn't show Vista support. Maybe the XP drivers will work. Did you try them?
The hp model you indicate--HP A6524P-B--doesn't show up on HP's site. Are you sure you got the right number? Did that PC originally come with Vista? If so, finding the correct download page for your model should have the drivers.

I checked microsoft's vista support site and it only lists one HP mouse and it's not that one:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/co...
That just means there's no drivers for it made by microsoft. It's possible HP has or will make drivers for it or that their XP drivers will work.
If the XP drivers don't work it's probably best to contact HP.

Correct model number for computert. HP site shows A6500 series. Mine is A6524P which I got from Office Depot. It came with wired mouse BUT I had one that I bought from HP and was using on my XP. I tried to download the software that came with the mouse and it said that it would not load on 64 bit machine.
I guess I will just have to call HP because Walmart has a HP wireless optical mouse that is brand new and not this model number. I may buy it and see if the software will download and give me the driver. Then I can return it as not happy.
I don'tknow why HP A6524P-B will not pull up on their site. They have so many models I guess they can't list them all. They just list the 6500 series and then they want you to buy it and configure it so the price will go up.
