Specs: win xp, 1g
Hello, i have a HP compaq nx9110. I have 1g of ram in it and its a 2.8.. It has a graphic card of ATI 9000IGP.. i was wondering if i could upgrade that card somehow... Even if if i am forced to buy a new motherboard, i want to upgrade my video card somehow..

Please tell me if its possiable to upgrade video cards on laptops.. If you have a motherboard in mind also, please list it, thanks.

The simple answer is no. Laptop motherboards are proprietary items, usually manafactured in China\Taiwan for a one specific maker,your best bet is to go through laptop specs to identify exactly what you want then sell the HPnx9110 and put the money towards it.
Having said that I don't know if any laptop can compete in the heavy gaming field but then I've never looked.
