Hello, i have a HP compaq nx9110. I have 1g of ram in it and its a 2.8.. It has a graphic card of ATI 9000IGP.. i was wondering if i could upgrade that card somehow... Even if if i am forced to buy a new motherboard, i want to upgrade my video card somehow.. Please tell me if its possiable to upgrade video cards on laptops.. If you have a motherboard in mind also, please list it, thanks.

The simple answer is no. Laptop motherboards are proprietary items, usually manafactured in China\Taiwan for a one specific maker, your best bet is to go through laptop specs to identify exactly what you want then sell the HPnx9110 and put the money towards it.
Having said that I don't know if any laptop can compete in the heavy gaming field but then I've never looked. That is the biggest fool thing we have ever done. The Atomic bomb will never go off, and I speak as an expert in explosives.
