Hi there. I've had my laptop for a little over a year, so my warranty is up. This really doesn't seem to be an operational problem or anything, but it's really annoying and I'm wondering if it could turn into a bigger problem. I went out of town and left my laptop on because I knew my roommates were home and let them use it. When I got back it was off. One of my roommates told me that it overheated and turned off on its own, which has happened before. I think I need a new fan or something. Anyway, when I turned it on everything turned on fine, except my display is a lot more squished (wide) than it was before. I did everything I could think of. I did a system restore. I messed around with the display settings, but everything said that it was on default and okay. But everything is obviously squished and I can't figure out how to fix it. Any ideas?
