I have a HP laptop. G60-535DX. This is the 3rd one in 5 days. With the first two, the screen would simply shut off after 3 minutes...whether I was using it or not. Tonight I was using the 3rd computer (i took the first two back to bestbuy), all was going well, and things on the screen started to "blink". Not the whole screen, just things on it like the mouse cursor, the time, date, etc. they didn't blink in sync with each other either. i put the computer in sleep mode for 30 minutes (approx), when I returned I opened the screen and hit the space bar. The screen would not come back on. I pressed several other keys, still nothing. I pressed the power button, still nothing. I had to hold down the power button until the computer powered off, then turn it on again. The computer came back on then. Any idea why it did this? I called HP and they had me turn off hibernate mode, and it "shouldn't happen again". But what if I want to use hibernate?
