Comment: On my HP Desktop 640c, the orange light is steady on, NOT blinking, and it just constantly prints out test pages, even though the computer is not requesting print pages, and during printing it just leaves the orange light on and turns the green light off. Is this a huge error? Live by God, and by God only.

Reply: (edit)Did I do something by cleaning the bottom of the cartridges? I cleaned the bottom of the cartridges with a small amount of water a piece of paper, only cleaning the excess ink on the cartridge and everything seemed to work again. Doing this for before a while back for some reason fixed the printer. I think it actually may have been the same problem. I can't find stedy orange light in the manunal. Am I missing something? Reply: (edit)I think I fixed it, I just had the printer turned off for a really long time and everything seemed to work again. Live by God, and by God only.
