Well, i have the HP 1120c conected to the pc via parallel port and for some reason the printer wont print properly when you print using MS Word or MS Works (well these are the 2 programs i cant print properly with) whereas other programs such as MS Excel, Corel, IE, all the other progs i have installed can print fine.
The problem is this: When printing from Works or Word, the printout is "streaky" as if the print head needs cleaning, it is all liney and faded. New cartridges, cleaning print heads does not help, but it is only these two programs.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is occuring and if i can fix it.

The only thing I can think of is that the fonts you are using may be different and that is the reason. Try printing from both programs using the same font and see what happens.
