Specs: Windows XP

Hey guys,
I have a HP Compaq DX2200 desktop, and i re-installed Windows XP SP2, it wasnt me who installed it. It was a friend of my friend. And ive tried installing many drivers for it but still no sound. Also when i was installing one driver "Realtek AC97 Audio Driver" an error came up and said "Microsoft Bus Driver should be loaded in your system before installing Realtek HD Audio Driver". And in the device manager, the SM Bus Controller seems to be in the other devices that are not installed or something, i dono about it, but heres a screenshot!!

Here's the driver page for your computer. Scroll down until you see Chipset Driver. Click download and save the file. Remember where you saved it to. Maybe you want to use the Desktop for now. Then download the Realtek Audio driver and do the same thing. After the download is done, locate the files on your Desktop and install them. Good Luck.

"Microsoft Bus Driver should be loaded in your system before installing Realtek HD Audio Driver"

The M$ Bus Driver (aka UAA) is a part of SP3. You can install the UAA driver that's listed at the HP site, then the Realtek driver, but why not just install SP3? There's no reason to stick with SP2.
