Comment:
I have an HP 712C unwilling to print yellow. I have already 1) Cleaned and 2) primed and 3) manually wiped clean the printed heads with Iso Alchl 4) removed and reinstalled drivers, 5)installed brand new cartrides and the Comm test always competes 'successfully', BUT still ...the Print testlooks perfect EXCEPT no yellow is output. Any further thoughts or troubleshooting assistance before I consider putting it to sleep? thnx for any assitance Steven

Take the cartridge out and run it under hot water for a long while. You could even soak the tip it in a cup of microwaved water. check it once in a while for signs of all the colors to be leaking out of the cartridge.
Dry it well (WELL) and reinstall. It will take a few cleaning cycles for it not to look watery but it may work.
