Comment: I have a HP 6p laser printer and it is not printing. There is a solid orange light on the printer which is it not going away. I read the printer's manual and it says the orange light indicates that there's some thing jammed in there. I took the whole thing apart and nothing was jammed. At this point I am out of luck, anyone know how to fix this problem? thanks

Reply: (edit)Well, it depends -- is the solid orange light on the FRONT -- which indicates that the printer is waiting for paper (either in the manual-feed tray if the light is near the top; or in the paper tray if the light is the one on the bottom). If it is an orange light on the TOP of the printer, it indicates a malfunction (paper jam, etc.) Also, try turning the printer OFF -- which I presume you did when you took it apart!
