how to upgrade my dell 530 inspiron

Specs: Windows Vista basic, 2gig ram atm 2.7ghz atm
how can i upgrade my dell inspiron 530 (not slim) to a pretty good graphics card my psu says 300watt max ??? will i need a new one if so can u tell me what one would be good, also any suggestions for a graphics card. much appreciated stephen ..

You'll need to replace the PSU first. 300 watts isn't going to cut it with a decent card. Look for a PSU that has a single 12 volt rail like the Corsair line. Don't be fooled by watts. It's the amps on the 12 volt rail that count. As for the card, it depends on what you want to do, play games / graphics programs / blue ray etc. Your processor will limit you on high end games.
