Laptop or desktop? Inbuilt microphone or plugged into the MIC socket of your soundcard? Have you gone into control panel > Sound & Audio devices and set your microphone as the default device for audio & voice recording?
Hi Richard59 It Is a laptop, inbuilt Microphone. WinXP The Sound&audio shows : on Voice playback: 'HD audio independent headphone' on Voice recording : 'HD audio capture' Done Troubleshooting abd got 'Your hardware cannot play sound' Contact ypur vendor foR INFORMATION. My laptop produces sounds without problem, I can hear people talking on Skype, they do not hear me!
