Comment: i have 2 hard drives hooked up in my computer and i was wondering if there were way to take advantage of that for computer performance. i have split the pagefile between the two but thats all i know to do so far. i think my motherboard can support raid but i dont want to format my hard drives. Is there another way to do it?

Reply: (edit)My best advice would be to get an imaging program and image your system to the second drive for backup. It won't help your performance, but someday you will probably be thankful that you did it. Personnaly, I don't think Raid 0 is a good thing. Tests have shown that it doesn't help gaming and really exposes you to loss of data.

Reply: (edit)Hi just to add, if your gaming or want better perf, your better off creating a single partition purely for xp paging if your disks are becoming too fragmented, so it retains contiguous structure, Personally i dont see much advantage as xp looks after itself if you defrag now and again. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=314482
