I have a Lenov ideacentre 700 series. Brand new- straight out of the box. When I turn on the PCfor the 1st time the monitor displays Lenovo then displays power save mode. I see where some people wrote to do the following- it says go to control panel and do this and that. This is brand new has has never turned on. I can't get it to display or boot. Is there a fix for this or should I go return to store? Any idea as to what would cause this? Also I'm not a computer novice. Tammy

Also I've tried unplugging every cord. Holding down power button to restart etc.

Brand new out of the box computer should boot up easily and go directly to initializing and customizing the set up. From what I am seeing here, you should go back to where you purchased it and demand a new machine and have them boot it up in front of you. Go through entering your name and the basic set up before you leave to make sure all is working right.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Is the monitor correctly connected to the computer? That's the only non-warranty thing I can think of to check. Otherwise, yeah, take it back.
