Specs: Windows 7
Hi,my hard disk fell down and ever since it is not being detected by my makes some funny click sound when u connect it.however the power lights still blink.please help

The drive likely has physical internal damage, so repairing it would be impossible (except for a company specializing in such---which isn't cheap). Replace it.

Hard drives are only repaired for the purposes of data recovery and the cost is much higher than for a new drive. I assume this is an external drive. You could try removing the drive from the enclosure and attaching it directly to a computer but I wouldn't hold out much hope of this working. You drive almost certainly has internal damage and needs to be replaced.

If you do not have a backup of the data on the drive, why not? Hard drives fail and data can be lost for a variety of other reasons as well. You need to be prepared when, not if, something happens.
