Comment: I have one .mp4 file. When I try to play this file with Windows Media Player, I encounter an error message "cannot play". How can I play .mp4 files ? I have one .ram audio file. But, I am not able to play this file as it is not recognized by Windows Media Player. What should I do to play this .ram file? Vishnu

Reply: (edit)Give VLC Media Player a try. That program plays pretty much everything so it's a great program to have regardless. For .mp4's VLC should play them too but if it doesn't I know that Winamp does.
