Dell / Poweredge rack console

Specs: Windows Server 2008 R2 64 it
We have a Dell PowerEdge Rack Console 17FP (Dell 1U - LCD - (17in) - with DELL Rack Rails), after the keyboard instalation the built-in mouse doesn't work. We have two servers connected, both with Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit on it. The keyboard works perfectly, but not the mouse. The cable connection to the KVM is ps2 for Mouse and Keyboard.

Do we need to install a special driver for that?!

you don't have to install drivers for PS2. just for troubleshooting, plug the mouse directly into the server, you may have a dead port on the KVM. Power down the server when you do as PS2 is not hot swapable.

Hello!

Thanks for your help, but we tried that, and even so the mouse doesn't work.
An external mouse, with USB connector plugged directed to the server worked.

We took the keyboard off and plugged in a workstation and one more time the mouse doesn't work, only the keyboard.
So, I believe that we received a defective built in mouse.

Sounds like it, try a different mouse.
