how to lower the Vcore

Uhhh, yeah This is done in the BIOS. There might be some program out there for doin that but, if I were you...... I would get into the BIOS Setup and do it there.

How do you know it's 1.70v? Did you get the info from the BIOS or a monitoring program? You may find that the setting in the BIOS is wrong, or it may already be set to 1.65v & it's being reported as 1.70v...
