How to get 9-hour Battery Life as advertised

Samsung / Np-x420

Specs: Windows 7
Hi, my laptop asked me if I'd like to charge the battery to 80% to save wear, this is appropriate if it's used mostly on mains. I did this a few months ago as I was using it on mains nearly all the time, but am now using it more on battery so want to go back to 100% charge. I've looked everywhere, and there's nothing to say how to change it back in the user manual or in the my computer hardware battery area. Consequently I can't get the advertised 9 hours battery life any longer! Any ideas please?!
thanks, Lynne

You shouldn't believe everything you read - Samsung claim about 9-hour battery life was mentioned with an asterisk (traditionally known as a gotcha, or fine print) (look HERE).

There simply is no way you can change old & unused battery 100%. You also should be aware that battery cell efficiency do decreases over time.. This is how batteries are manufactured.
