how to fully disable onboard sound card?

Specs: Windows 7, Q9300
does anyone know how to fully disable onboard sound card on ASUS P5N-D motherboard? because i need to install the new xonar sound card. i know how to do it in BIOS, but there's no way that i can get into the BIOS. is there another way around?NEED HELP!!!

You can enter the BIOS by either pressing F2, or delete. On most Asus motherboards, the key is Delete. You press the key when first turn on the computer and see stuff on the screen.

It has to be done in the BIOS. If there's some reason you can't access the BIOS, you've got to figure out why. Could it be your keyboard? If you're using a USB keyboard, switch to PS/2.

thanks for everyone's help. but i have got it working ,all i did was disable the on board sound card on the divce manager. then it works!
