how to fix write protected generic usb flash

Specs: Windows 7

i have 265 GB Generic Kingston Flash drive , when i tried to add or remove files it tells me that i cant do that job coz its write protected , i tried the regedit trick but nothing worked out , HELP PLEASE

Look for a sliding button mechanical lock on it.

An you see the files? If so, right click on one and choose properties. What does it say?

Hi , No Lock Button in the Device itself coz its a USB Flash Drive, when i choose any file and right click on it i c all options but the delete one , its that one ( http://www.kingston.com/product_sho... ) Thanks for your reply

Are you sure it isn't a 256mb flash drive?

So then, you still have the problem, or have you solved it?

As per my response above, I didn't know flash drives that large were available. That is why I assumed your post was a typo. You typed 265 which is also a typo therefore the assumption.
