CTSPD is a utility that can read the SPD information on DIMM ram including SDRam modules, but it can't read SPD information on DDR or DDR2 ram, and it won't work with some newer hardware monitoring chips. It works on many older mboards however.

Note that the utility may display in German the first time you use it - click on the Language button on the right side to change that to English, and it will display in English from then on.
It can't recognize 125mhz ram, which was briefly a standard. (Sysoft Sandra can).

Speedfan has a more limited display of SPD info, but it can read the SPD info on DDR and DDR2 ram and works with more hardware monitoring chips:

Doc Memory's SPD Reader can read the SPD info on DDR and DDR2 ram, but only with certain hardware monitoring chipsets:
