I cannot workout how to connect my ATX case front audio connectors to this motherboard. I have mic power, mic in, L-out, L-Ret, R-out, R-Ret wires coming from the front panel but motherboard has Port E Left Channel, Port E Right Channel, Port F Right Channel, Port E and Port F Sense send, Port F left Channel, Ground, Presence (dongle present), Port E Sense return, Key, Port F Sense return pins. Can some one please help since the terminology don't match between the wires and the pins.

Have you tried to seek the mother board's manual for help if the mother board has feature for front panel materials? You must first know if the mother board include that kind of feature on them. Let me see if i can determine that. Share the model of your mother board.

Modern motherboards are capable of both HDAudio and AC97 Audio, this is set in BIOS.

Therefore modern cases at the end of the front panel audio wiring loom have both sets of connectors, only one set is used depending on the BIOS setting of the Audio:

Obviously this was all gleaned from Intel Support who manufacture the motherboard in your specs "Intel D925xcv desktop motherboard"

Well it may be set up on the bios but you have first to see if the Mother really has that kind of device built in to it.
