How to detect type of RAM?!

Is there a quick program that will tell me what type of RAM a system's using.. Ie:EDO, SD..

What about opening the case & having a look? On an old system like that, I'd bet it's 72-pin SIMMs...FPM or EDO...it may come up on your boot screen but it's usually pretty quick...try hitting "pause"
