How to convert .vfd files

Microsoft Excel 2003 (full product)

Specs: Windows 7/XP Dual Boot, P4/3.1 3gig
I have a series of MS-DOS 6.22 diskettes with the suffix .vfd and I wish to convert them to something that my system can read so that I can mount them in VirtualBox. This is the instruction that came with them:

All disks are made with PowerQuest VF Editor and can be converted to floppy by double clicking on the file name. This ensures that the f1rst "Setup" disk is bootable.

I have searched for the Power Quest Editor with no luck and double clicking on the file as suggested in the read-me causes Windows to ask me what programme I wish to use to open the file. I did find one reference to the PQ Editor but it doesn't seem to make any reference to converting these files.

Thank you Mike... the opening statement on the page you refer to (and which I also found) states OREM, Utah - July 23, 2001 - PowerQuest® Corporation, a provider... etc. but the editor as a download does not exist. I make use of "my friend" regularly but when all else fails I come here where there are other friends.
