How do I connect my laptop (Win XP) to my deskop PC so that I can transfer data from the laptop. The laptop doesn't have a CD burner and some files a larger than I can put onto floppy.

The simplest way is to get a laplink cable from radio shack ($15) and download File Maven Pro

The most easiest way is to invest a hardware called USB memory stick. Some memory stick can store up to 384Mbytes of data.
