Subject: How to configure SCSI harddisk
OS: Win NT 4.0
CPU/Ram: PIII
Comment:

I have Three Seagate SCSI harddisk (model ST 39236LW) with Intel PIII server board having SCSI controller on board and a extra Mylex AcceleRADI 250 SCSI RAID controller operating system is Windows NT server 4.0.
What i have to do to set up RAID 5. What I have to do so that hard disk will work. Which driver softwares I will need to configure this. I have no experience on configure SCSI HD.
Second Is there any setting in SCSI like IDE to make SCSI hard Disk master or slave .

I can't be much help on SCSI, but I know a couple of things.

SCSI drives have selector switches on the back with numbers instead of master/slave.

SCSI drives are hooked in a string like christmas tree lights. There has to be a terminator installed on the last drive in the string. There `possibly' also has to be a terminator installed elsewhere.
