how to change motherbord from pci into agp

Specs: Windows XP, intel
i have a simmtronics mainboard and its graphic card open can take pci or agp cards but the problam is when i put my agp card it think its pci and cant instal the vido control on my windows i downloaded all the drivers gf fx 5500 and still not working and when i chaked its say i have pci slot in my windows

AGP is an extension of the PCI bus. Windows recognizes it as PCI. In other words, nothing is wrong.

What do you mean ALL the drivers? There is only one:

And make sure you download & install the latest motherboard chipset drivers before you install the video drivers.
