I need to change IRQ11 to IRQ legacy in order to make my hardware work with PC. I am using XP. I tried it in BIOS settings but I cant find Legacy option.
Can anyone shed light on this plz ????

Do you mean ISA Legacy? What hardware are you trying to get to work?

In addition to the above general information we need to know the model of the motherboard. If you have a brand name pre-configured computer you may not have ANY options to change what IRQ is used.
As OtheHill suggests, you get very few user-changeable settings in the BIOS Setup on factory-built computers. They don't want you messing it up and then making a warranty claim because of your meddling.
Hey Guys,
I was actually using AFM (atomic force microscope) on this computer before but then the hard disk of this computer got corrupted. So, I installed the software to operate this AFM again. Now it has two options 1) Offline mode and 2) Real time mode.
I am not able to see real time mode option in the software now. So I contacted the company and they told me that changing IRQ11 to IRQ Legacy will solve the problem.
Also I checked motherboard from system info:
It says system manufacture and model as "To be filled"
Is your computer a brand name unit or custom built. If brand name then post the full model number. If custom built then download the free version of SANDRA linked below to find the motherboard model. So you are using an electron microscope of some sort? If so, what is the brand and model of the unit? How is it connected to your computer?
