This is a frustrating question, when tyrying to reload xp pro on my machine, setup failed and then got the NTLDR is missing message, wont allowme to boot from a boot floppy so trying to change boot order to load first from cdrom. Got into BIOS ik, and have boot order, cdrom is 4th on the list, can move upand down the lsit, highlighting each item, but cannot see how to change the order
normally its obvious, for this BIOS i just cant see how to doit. Can anyone help?

Every BIOS works a little differently. If you can't just select the first boot device from a list but need to put the list in the desired order then try to highlight the one you want on top and use the arrow keys or the page up/dn keys to move the order.

Be sure to save the changes when exiting.

I agree that the folks that design the screens could make it more logical.

OEM BIOSes seem to be harder to work with than aftermarket motherboards.
