hello anyone:
I need some help out here with my laptop.
The password is set and I cannot use it, because is asking me for a password in the setup and when is booting. I tried to use a diskette but is not working, the computer needs the password before it can do something else.
So, anyone know how to break a password for a Dell Laptop PII?

thanks

It's a BIOS password so a fresh install will not work because you can't get that far.

You will have to search elsewhere on how to accomplish this as password bypassing is not a valid topic on these forums.

Hi

Has ANYONE else had access to your laptop? (ie include 3 year olds as well)

If you haven't set the password, someone/something else has. Please post back your answer here.

If you have a few hours, call dell tech support.

They will confirm that you are the owner of the laptop and can help you remove the password.
