Reply: (edit)When the computer first boots, the very first thing it lists is the graphic's card memory. OK, it may be the second thing after the BIOS info, but it's right up there when the computer first starts. Larry Today seems like a good day to chew through the restraints.

Reply: (edit)Mine does not show during boot. Try going to Start, Run, dxdiag, click Ok. Display tab Look at "Approximate total memory" HTH Bryan

Reply: (edit)If it's onboard video, look in the BIOS to see how much memory is allocated to it. Or, if you know how much memory is installed in the PC, see how much is being reported...the difference will be how much is used by the graphics. For example, you know you have 256MB RAM installed but it shows as 224MB...32MB is being used by the onboard (256 - 224 = 32)

Reply: (edit)A much more elegant solution Bryco. Completely slipped my mind. Larry Today seems like a good day to chew through the restraints.
