I have an old 50Mb Seagate ST-251 -1 HD lying around and was wondering how much it is worth?

I search a few used pc Internet stores and I've seen prices from $50 to $250. (I'm as shocked as you are!) I want to know how much it’s REALLY worth?

If it's good enough you can warranty it for 30 days it's worth 25-50 bucks for someone who has a use for it.

If someone wants repair parts for a Tandy you may get something like that. The MFM controller card need to go with the ST-251 as you won't have use for one without the other.

If you want the truth, you have a bucket full of junk. I keep stuff like this around because it's easier to have it than to find it. I actually do use it from time to time to get a give-away machine running.

If you have no use for it, put it up on an auction site and get what you can for it or contact your local friendly used computer shop to try and move it. Warning, they'll try to steal it from you.
