You need to refer to Dells website for this information. You didn't state what model or what mobo or any other information. No one can tell you anything without this information. Visit Dell.com and look up your service tag number. It will tell you what you want to know.

ASUS P5GD1
P-4 3.4 SOCKET 775
1G Corsaire PC400
ABIT RX600SE 256MB PCI-E

You can open up the case and find the label which tells what it is on it. It'd be marked, or watch the bios (really quickly) and it'll tell your a series of number which can identify your mobo..

Or, (this is easier way)

Download Everest home edition which is free http://www.lavalys.com/products/overview.php?pid=1〈=en&pageid=1

Open the program, click computer, summary, and find the line that says, Motherboard Name. Also, what does System Memory say?
