I want to BURN about 185 CDs of Scientific data. Can I use ONE CD WRITER to burn this many of CDs or do I need few CD writers? Usually how many cds can burn per writer?? Thanks in advance

Reply: (edit)Your question is unclear. How big (file size) are the 185 cds? A normal blank cdr will fit 650mb. If the 185 cds are not more than this, one cd will be all you need. Hope that helps. Kevin.

ya i guess you can burn those cds using 1 cd writer, but it'll be time consuming...Maybe taking days. It would be better if you give them to some shop or something, who will burn them within a day or two.

cds is a writer good for before it dies and
has to be replaced. But the way the
question is stated it makes one think "How
many CD's can a burner make at one time?"
Which for most is just one. If its the
lifetime thing then several hundred, I'm not
sure what the actual number is but newer
drives are prob near 1000 discs.
