Reply: (edit)Good results are no errors. The longer you let it run the better detection you will get. I don't think there is any set amount of time for running it. It will run until you stop it. I usually will set it before I go to bed and stop it in the morning or whenever I get to my pc. The shortest amount of time that I have let it run is 20 mins. Reply: (edit)I only let it run for one PASS. Top right hand corner. Once it gets through that it can be stopped. Letting it run for a long time like you have, may not be good for your memory.

Reply: (edit)I usually only let it run a single pass, sometimes two. If your RAM has errors, they'll pop up immediately....

Reply: (edit)I agree with the first poster, longer is better. I recommend if you NEED to run a memory test, you NEED to run it at least 8 hours. Kill when tired of watching or satisfied. J. j e r u v y a t y a h o o d o t c o m

Reply: (edit)Definitely longer is better. Intermittents can slip by a short test. Running the test a long time does not damage your RAM.
