How i can use System Restore?

Specs: Windows XP
I want to restore my files with System Restore beacuse i have a corrupted problem with the computer.
I want to start System Restore and says that i need at least 200 MB in the hard drive (C),but me i have 4,08 GB.
How i can resolve the problem?

Sorry for my bad english, im romanian.

4.08gb free space or the capacity of drive C? If it ask for 200mb then u have less than 200mb free space. Open my computer>right click drive c>properties the post the full capacity and free space of drive C.

Because of virus u want restore the system right? U have to use good av software to get rid of them. Download avast free edition update it and scan the whole system, also download malwarebytes update it and scan the whole system(don't let malwarebytes run all the time if u have low memory). When the system is very bad infected system restore refuse to do the job right, in this case u have two options(1. Start from scratch or 2. Repair) sometimes repair refuse work .

me not for virus i want to restore windows,i want to restore because when i download games i open it and the computer restarts

Sometimes restore will not work on an infected system. Run the AV programs or if you don't have data to save install on a freshly formatted hard drive. I prefer to zero format before partitioning and formatting,
